Why do you work in Human Resources?

I started my career at the NY State Division of Human Rights. After I got my MBA, I received an offer to "practice what I preach" in the private sector. We had a super HR and senior management team who gave me lots of freedom to introduce "great place to work" practices -- so we were able to set the standard for best practice. I've been working on emerging workplace issues ever since!
