In reaction to your comment about HR and blogging, I am an old GenX (1971). If you want any comments or points of view for your panel, I'll be more than happy to contribute. I have a blog since April (in French) and I am using it for networking with HR people to feel less isolated by sharing thoughts and exchanging on several HR subjects. For a reason I don't know, there is not a lot of French blogs and I did not achieve my goal yet: networking HR bloggers in Quebec (Canada).
About the second part of your comment, you are right when you talked about idiot bosses who express fear of blog power...they fear to loose control on the company's brand. In some cases, it can becomes a real issue. We had a case of an European employee based in China blogging against the Chinese goverment...I let you imagine the rest of his story.
Keeping control on corporate brand is becoming a real issue.
